Festival of Flowers

The planning was finally over, all the preparations were made, the day was finally here - our Festival of Flowers began. What a fantastic weekend we had.  All the displays were brilliant and everyone enjoyed themselves greatly. The Church looked lovely with masses of colour and flowers everywhere. There were lots of visitors over the two days, who also enjoyed a cup of tea and cake!

On the Sunday night we had a Songs of Praise service which was very well attended. All the hymns had been chosen by people in the congregation and various people took part with the readings.
